Guama village, situated at the high altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, provides optimal conditions for coffee cultivation, resulting in slow cherry maturation and concentrated flavours. The Guama wet mill, established in 1974, supports over 3,500 small-scale producers, each cultivating around 86 coffee trees. This cooperative model is vital for farmers, allowing them to pool resources and access processing facilities.

Guama Village coffee is highly regarded in the specialty market, providing a significant income source for the community. This success reflects the dedication of smallholder farmers committed to sustainable practices, preserving the region's unique terroir.

Expect a very bright cup from this lot, with citric acidity complimented by flavours of boysenberry and red apple sweetness.
